This morning, state economists released the May revenue forecast, which projects slowing economic growth and a corresponding decline in state revenue.

As Oregon’s leaders consider the latest revenue forecast, we urge them to stay focused on what truly strengthens our economy—investing in public services and basic needs support that allow working families to thrive. When we meet basic needs, we build a stronger, more resilient economy for everyone.
“We can take this opportunity to strengthen Oregon’s future, and keep our state strong amidst federal instability.”
