Pizza on Earth

Eat Pizza. End Hunger. Every Tuesday in December.

At Hunger-Free Oregon, we love pizza! And we love celebrating pizza culture in Portland. So we’ve teamed up with pizzerias across the city to raise money for our mission.

This December, supporting us is as easy as ordering pizza.

What are you waiting for? Add a reminder to your calendar, invite friends and family, and eat pizza for a good cause! Find a participating pizzeria here.

Child Hunger Prevention Conference

Each year, we bring together people working in schools and community organizations to focus on how to prevent child hunger and support child nutrition programs.

In 2017, more than 80 partners from around the state joined us to learn about how to strengthen programs connecting kids and families to nutrition. Leaders from across the state met each other and learned from peers about best practices and innovative strategies. The conference was held at Chehalem Cultural Center.

Thank you to our sponsor Oregon Dairy and Nutrition Council for helping us bring keynote speaker Dayle Hayes!

Feast Portland

Hunger-Free Oregon is one of the beneficiaries of Feast Portland, one of the most renowned food festivals in the Pacific Northwest.

As a beneficiary, we receive part of the proceeds from events and other activities, as well as provide volunteers for events. It is an amazing partnership, and we are so grateful to be included!
