Summer SNAP Trainings Across Oregon!

Are you interested in better understanding the ins-and-outs of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)? Do you want to speak more confidently to your clients, community members, friends, and neighbors about why SNAP is a helpful resource and how the application process works? Do you want to better understand what outreach strategies are effective and who is working on these efforts locally? Do you have specific questions for the Department of Human Services (DHS) who administers SNAP in Oregon and are you hoping to build connections with your local DHS office?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, please join Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon and the Oregon Department of Human Services at an upcoming SNAP training this summer!

These free trainings cover SNAP outreach best practices, application basics and resources available to you. They also offer a chance to network with other organizations to collaborate on outreach efforts. Trainings are open to any organizations/persons who are conducting or hoping to begin outreach work to help clients connect to SNAP.
