Welcome to OHRTF!
The Oregon Hunger Relief Task Force was created by the State Legislature in 1989 to collaborate with state agencies, businesses, non-profit organizations, public officials and local communities to end hunger in Oregon. We invite you to learn more about us , our partners, and our mission.

  The Act To End Hunger
     Summer Food Program
This executive summary highlights recent accomplishments and sets future priorities. We've seen extraordinary success since the Act was launched in 2004, but there is still much to do to ensure all Oregonians can put food on the table.
The Summer Food Program website is up and running! Check out its mapping feature to find a site near you. While you're there, learn about volunteer opportunities.

The Governor issued several challenges during May's Hunger Week. Governor Kulongoski specifically challenged Oregon businesses, medical professionals, food processors, and the public to help end hunger in Oregon.                 More
Partners from around the state will gather in Salem on October 6-8 for the 2008 Oregon Housing & Community Services: Creating Opportunities to Thrive conference, sharing lessons learned and offering new opportunities for involvement.
