Bill moves out of Senate committee

The Senate Agriculture Committee released a bill for Child Nutrition Reauthorization called the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.

There are many positive improvements, particularly for school meal programs. However, several important improvements (PDF, 130 KB) were left out, particularly for the Summer Food Service Program and the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
