How Your Donation Helps

Your gift supports important work:

• Advocacy: We bring the ideas and needs of our local communities to legislators, state agencies, and other leaders who can help make changes that will permanently end hunger.
• Community Forums: Our staff organize local events to listen to Oregonians about the changes that will end hunger in their communities (see Oregon's Call to Action 2010 for examples).
• Creating Local Anti-Hunger Leaders: We provide Oregonians across the state with the tools and training they need to become advocates against hunger for their own communities.
• Hands-On Support: We help partners across the state with initiatives and programs in their communities, such as feeding kids during the summer when school is out.
